Industrial Headsets

Working in industrial environments can often be noisy entailing that important calls and messages are missed as the ringtone or voice of the caller cannot be heard.

To improve communication in noisy environments, the KIRK 60-Handset Series has a headset jack with amplifier for industrial headsets to ensure that all calls and messages are answered. Moreover, the KIRK 6040 Handset has Bluetooth headset connection.

Any Bluetooth Headset complying with Bluetooth 2.0 standard may be applied. Also supported are Headset Profile 1.1 and Handsfree Profile 1.0. However, Polycom recommends using Bluetooth Headsets with built-in acoustic echo cancellation.

Polycom has tested a range of functionalities in industrial headsets with the KIRK 6020 and KIRK 6040 Handsets.
